Emergence, hosted by Alluvion Dance Chicago (ADC), is a summer festival of up and coming choreographers, now presenting in its tenth season with two unique shows on both Friday, June 14th and Saturday, June 15th at 7:30 pm at the Edge Theater. Striving to be a buffer between emerging choreographers and professional companies, ADC presents Emergence. Emergence provides up and coming choreographers an opportunity to emerging dance companies, choreographers and artists to present their work in a fully produced setting, all while complete with a panel of Artistic Directors, educators and Rehearsal Directors throughout the Chicagoland area.
Friday, June 14th's show is featuring choreography by the company members of Alluvion Dance Chicago: Kaetlyn Jeffries, Ryan Dick, Cassie Stahnke, Alyssa Athens, Miranda McGovern, Sarah Bodony and Lauren Smith.
Saturday, June 15th's show is featuring choreography by: Miranda McGovern, Ryan Dick, Celine O'Brien, Andrea Moses, Haley Tarling, Julia McCullock, Olivia Pennell, Sawyer McNamara and Dani Johnson, Anna Caffarelli, Esther Farley, Jamie Greco and Mark Gonzalez.
